C'est sans Rajon Rondo que les Celtics sont allés chercher une victoire au courage sur le parquet des Wizards la nuit dernière. Malgré le triple-double de John Wall (28 pts, 11 rbds, 10 pds), le second de sa carrière, Washington a craqué et laissé un autre joueur que son meneur s'accaparer la lumière. Avec 39 pts (14/26) inscrits et un panier à 3 pts pour arracher la prolongation, Jeff Green a rappelé qu'il était capable de prestations assez incroyables.
