<p>Excellent shooteur et partenaire très apprécié du "Chosen One", Gibson n'a pas bien vécu le départ de LeBron vers Miami. Alors que l'on pensait qu'il s'était progressivement retiré du business pour se plonger dans l'industrie de la musique, l'arrière a expliqué à Dime qu'il n'en était rien.</p>
<p><em>"J'ai été frappé par tout un tas d'événements, entre les blessures, mon divorce et le décès de ma grand-mère qui vivait avec moi. J'ai perdu toute capacité à travailler mon basket. J'ai souffert d'anxiété et de dépression. Le basket était mon sanctuaire, mais je n'arrivais plus à y entrer. J'en suis arrivé à un point où je n'avais plus envie de vivre... J'ai commencé à écrire sur ce que je ressentais et ce que je voulais accomplir. L'écriture et mon fils m'ont, en gros, sauvé la vie". </em></p>
