Carbonisés et maladroits, les Blazers n'ont pas fait le poids face aux Warriors dimanche. On espérait un duel au sommet entre Stephen Curry et Damian Lillard, mais les deux meneurs n'étaient visiblement pas dans des dispositions similaires. C'est une véritable démonstration qu'a livrée le néo-All-Star devant son public, avec 38 points, 7 rebonds et 6 passes, pour éteindre Portland et le meilleur rookie de la saison passée. En dedans, Lillard n'a inscrit que 16 pts à 5/16, alors que LaMarcus Aldridge a lui connu un coup de pompe assez important en termes d'adresse avec un inhabituel 2/14 au shoot.
