Miami 94-101 Washington Victoire surprise à l’Est avec ce bel upset des Wizards qui sont allés taper les champions en titre malgré un bon match de Dwyane Wade (23 pts à 7/4, 7 rbds et 2 pds). Ce sont les remplaçants qui ont fait le taf côté Washington, notamment Martell Webster qui termine avec 23 pts à 8/12 aux tirs. Après avoir dominé en première mi-temps, le Heat s’est fait rattraper petit à petit en perdant notamment la bataille du rebond et en rendant 7 ballons dans le 3ème quart-temps.
